Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens
Sep 1, 2009 Digital Cameras
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens . The Canon EF 50mm F1.8 II may be one of the cheapest lenses currently on the market, but its optics belie its lowly price. As befits a classic standard prime lens, it’s very sharp when stopped down (especially in the centre), shows minimal chromatic aberration, and has relatively low distortion; APS-C users will also benefit from extremely low vignetting. In most regards it comes very close indeed to its much more expensive bigger brother, the EF 50mm F1.4 USM, lagging marginally behind in corner sharpness at any specific aperture. The only real blight in imaging terms is the lens’s bokeh, or rendition of out-of-focus backgrounds, which is anything but smooth with a distinct tendency to render bright highlights as obvious pentagons (it’s a pity Canon didn’t choose to use a diaphragm with 7 or 8 blades instead of 5). Quick Tips To Help You Click Like A Pro!
Jun 6, 2009 Photography
Here’s the deal: photography is not rocket-science, though with the archaic long lens change box camera range, it well may have felt so! With the advancement of modern technology and science there have been many developments in the production and styling of cameras and thus, modern man (and woman – lest this appear sexist) has the advantage of easy-use, single-click, auto-focus cameras that not only store hundreds of pictures for the hobby photographer to choose the perfect shot from, but also come with video and audio capabilities besides photo-share options to upload these to a PC or a cell phone to send across to family and friends alike. These advancements in photography aided by technology make for making a dinosaur out of the daguerreotypes, the early device used for taking snapshots.

Photography and Tripod
May 10, 2009 Photography
Taking photograph is not complete if all your pictures are looking shaky. And believe me this is one of the problem that will confront a newbie when he ventures into photography. The remedy for a shaky snapshot is to have a tripod, and a good one for that matter. Though they can be a pain to carry, but for you to get rid of the problem mentioned earlier you will definitely need it. There are plenty and different varieties to choose from and they all come in every shape and size
The tripod has great advantage to photographers, either you are the type that takes nature shots, or the macro-photography, using the tripod makes your subject be as clear as possible. you can also use the tripod for long exposure shots, slow shutter speed etc there is no shot you will take that the tripod will not make a meaning of
