Taking photograph is not complete if all your pictures are looking shaky. And believe me this is one of the problem that will confront a newbie when he ventures into photography. The remedy for a shaky snapshot is to have a tripod, and a good one for that matter. Though they can be a pain to carry, but for you to get rid of the problem mentioned earlier you will definitely need it. There are plenty and different varieties to choose from and they all come in every shape and size

The tripod has great advantage to photographers, either you are the type that takes nature shots, or the macro-photography, using the tripod makes your subject be as clear as possible. you can also use the tripod for long exposure shots, slow shutter speed etc there is no shot you will take that the tripod will not make a meaning of

What makes a good tripod?

A good tripod depends on what you want the tripod to look. The type of head it has, is it the type you think is best for you? Does it have a head? You know it is the camera that is attached to the tripod, and if the head is unsuitable to your camera it will be useless we have the interchangeable or the removable heads, then there are also some tripod that doesn’t come with heads at all.

We have two varieties of heads; the pan and tilt head and the ball and socket heads, the two, both has its ups and downs. The pan and tilt head does not have much fluid movement as the ball and socket does. When you position the ball and socket in any direction, you can move the camera around while still on the tripod

The movement of the pan and tilt could be cumbersome loosing it and again tightening it at the same time but with the pall and socket head you might loosen it once, but then, you keep the camera level and you can then move the camera in any direction you choose

It is important to choose the best tripod for maximum comfort, stability and to achieve a good looking pictures .
